NICK ROBERTSHAW

EXPERTISE

Nick is a graduate of the University of York and qualified as a solicitor in 2008. He undertook his training at a firm in York and has since worked in Leeds and London before settling locally. Nick joined Mossop & Bowser in 2021.

Nick is able to advise on all aspects of Family Law including divorce and separation, financial matters, child custody, prenuptial agreements and domestic violence.

It is Nick’s aim to put clients at ease and explain their options to them in plain English. Nick takes a pragmatic approach and finds that negotiating a settlement of any Family Law matter is generally the quickest and most economical approach. However, should Court proceedings be necessary then Nick is fully able to pursue or defend any action on behalf of his clients.

TEAM

Nick is head of the Family Department and is supported by Sophie Ayton, Anisha Padhiar and Claire Bennett who are happy to help as much as they can with any enquiries.

BACKGROUND

Away from the office most of Nick’s time is taken up ferrying his children to various sporting activities and clubs. However, when he does get some free time he enjoys running, walking his dog, mountain biking and trying to play the guitar.
